Hi there!
Happy Tuesday! We're having some really beautiful, fall weather here this week - a bit chilly, but as long as the sun is shining and it's not snowing, I'm happy!
Have you seen Hero Arts' 2014 Holiday Catalog? It's filled with some wonderful products and when I saw this Peace Poinsettias stamp set, I just had to have it!
I love water coloring so I used a Worn Lipstick Distress Marker to stamp the image, then I pulled the color out and around with water and a small brush.
I added more color where I thought it was needed, then brushed on a bunch of Wink of Stella clear.
It's so hard to capture the sparkle in a photo but the shimmer is very pretty in real life. The sentiment is included in the set and I added a bit of the same ink color around the edges of the card base.
Okay, I'm heading outside to toss some of the old flowers in my pots and garden. Always makes me sad to do it - hate that summer is over! I'm hoping beyond all hope that this upcoming winter season is much easier than the last two years! I'd love to shovel less - A LOT less! Lol!
Thanks for stopping by! ♥

Hello Barb,
This is a BEAUTIFUL bloom that represents the festive season,it always makes me feel happy.
Of course you enjoy colouring, everyone can see this in your work as it is always perfect, and this is no exception. Light of hand is the key and you have it.
I can imagine the photo does not do it justice, even though I can see the shimmer here.
A gorgeous card Barb.
Smiles:)
