Cards For Day 4 - Holiday Card Workshop

Hi there!

I've got a quick post for you tonight. I need to get to bed earlier because I'm trying to fight off a cold and cough I feel coming on - yuk! We are also bracing for a big winter storm headed our way. We're suppose to get more than a foot of snow Monday and Tuesday - bigger YUK! Unfortunately, I also have to drive to work and back at the heaviest times of the storm on Monday. Not looking forward to that AT ALL!

I do have a couple of cards to share. They were both created for day 4 of the online card class, Holiday Card Workshop.

This first one is a take on Jennifer McGuire's fun, partial die-cutting technique.

Such a fun card to make! Here's a close-up.

And my second card is a take on Laura Bassen's beautiful card, using lots of masking.

Sorry for not sharing links to products used. I'm too tired, so if you have any questions, please ask in a comment below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I'm hoping to be back in a couple days with a card or two from days 5 and 6 of class. That is, if I feel well enough to create and if I make it through all that snow! Lol!

Thanks for the visit! ♥

Your cards are so nice, Barb, as always! I love the tree one.

I thought of you when I saw the weather report yesterday. Sound horrific; I detest driving in snow. Dress warmly and be safe!!

I sure hope you're feeling better after a good nights' rest, and that you managed to get to work safe and sound ~ (Hugs)!!!

And yeah...Dr. John told me earlier that you guys (and lucky us, too) are getting snow and it's coming BIG way! (yuck). Take good care and get rested, be well, Barb!

I LOVE your Santa card! What a great sentiment for it too. Hope you are feeling better and the snow wasn't too crazy.

Both cards are great Barb, love that aperture shape. Stay safe and keep hydrated. Hope you are able to fight off the cold. Battling bad weather and feeling unwell are a lousy combo.
