Day 1 Holiday Card Workshop

Hi there!

I've got a card to share with you today, created for day 1 of the newest Online Card Class called Holiday Card Workshop.

Just like many of you, one of my favorite card designers is Shari Carroll. She is soooo talented and her cards are always so gorgeous! Here is my take on her card from day 1 of class.

I love how effortlessly Shari is able to layer her elements! Without her examples of this technique, I would never be able to do it!

I used lots of Simon Says Stamp goodies, listed below.

Here's a close-up.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this fabulous class!

Simon says stamp products:
Bundle of Stitched Shapes
Holiday Frames
Flower Pattern Stencil
Rylynn Snowflake Die
Shades of Gray Cardstock
Moonshine Sequins

There is a new Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge going on too! This card is a good example for the embossing challenge (dry, wet or paste) because it not only uses Simon's own brand of products but it uses embossing (paste) as well. You can see all the details here. Come join the fun! You could win an awesome surprise  gift pack of embossing products such as, stencil, paste, powder, ink, etc!!!

Hope you're all enjoying the start of the week! Thanks for stopping by! ♥

Beautifully done! I don't have all of the dies to try this, but I may have enough images on my Cricut to cut out to try to duplicate it. I love your embossed layer.
