Day 2 - Clean and Simple 4

Hi there!

I'm back again today with another card. I know, I know, don't faint! Lol! I rarely blog two days in a row but when you have time off from work AND there's an online card class going on, it's easier to find the time.

In today's lesson, the instructors shared some fun techniques for CAS cards using dies. I loved Kristina's card and wanted to give it a try.

What a fun way to get more out of your dies! I used the Stitched Slopes and Hills die set from Simon Says Stamp. The butterflies are from their Butterfly Drift die and the sentiment is the from WPlus9 stamp set called, Hand Lettered Thanks.

Here's a close-up of the shimmery butterflies.

I used Simon Says Stamp inks to do my shading. Surf Blue, Island Blue and Blue Violet.

The first two days of class have been wonderful! If you didn't get a chance to see my faux ceramic tile card from day 1, click here. And if you're interested in these classes, click here. They are so worth the price and I always learn something new and fun! These classes are even worth it if you just need to get your creative mojo going!

I'm also entering this card in the Inkspirational Challenge #74, Ombre. Thank you, Pia for the info!
 Thanks for stopping by! ♥
