More Cards for "Mask-erade"

Hi there!

I'm back again tonight to share two more cards using some fun masking techniques learned in the online card class, Mask-erade

My first card uses a technique taught by Laura Bassen in day 1 of class. Loved her card! Here's my take:

I used the Darla Butterfly die from Memory Box to create my mask and lots of Simon Says Stamp inks. The pretty sentiment is from the Delightful Day set by Clearly Besotted.

My second card is another one-layer and was created using techniques from day 2. Jennifer McGuire's examples were so fun! I love that you can create lots of depth with masking!

I used a die from the Simon Says Stamp set called, Balloons, cut it out, then shaded in the negative spaces with ink and stamped the stars from the Birthday Balloons stamp set. I used a mixed sentiment - one from the same balloon set and one from Sending and Wishing.

I'm loving this class so far! It feels great to be inspired, not only to get inky, but to also share the creativity with you on my blog.

Hoping to be back again soon with more cards!

Thanks so much for your visit!
Barb ❤️

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both of the cards. Will have to take the class later, when I can afford it. The second card looks so real-they look round.
