Copics, Hearts and Sparkles!

Hi guys!

I'm back today with a few more cards to share.

Love this pretty stamp set from Winnie & Walter! So fun to color with Copics! And that awesome sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

Such a cool die from Simon Says Stamp! It's called Heart Vent. I really like aqua and red together and thought it would make a fun combination using this die.

And here's some silver, sparkly goodness! I used one of my fave stencils with some glitter paste for the background. Then I created a stencil from the Heart Duet die set and again used the same glitter paste. I cut out the hearts and voila! Much prettier in real life.

I've been taking just an hour or so each day to clear out cupboards and drawers in the kitchen. Feels so good to get rid of all the junk we collect over the years! Can anyone tell me why we do that? Seriously. Hubby and I have had quite a few laughs, finding some of the things we've saved. We keep asking each other the same two questions. "What is THIS?" and "Why would we even KEEP this?" Lol! I'm hoping most of you can relate!

Thanks for stopping by today - I really appreciate it! Hope everyone has a wonderful week! ♥

Well...I NEED to clean out my cupboards and I am sure my boys don't know half of what things do that are in there, but I do! I don't know if I could get rid of stuff, but they definitely need a good cleaning. All three of your cards are amazing, love the touches of glitter.

Oh yes, I can relate for sure! Just need to get to doing the hour a day like you! Gorgeous cards, Barb! I especially love the silvery glittery one--outstanding!

Try packing up your home of 20 years and moving!!! So much stuff. If you are not using it lately get rid of it. That was my mantra! Love your sweet cards, Barb. I agree, SSS has some of the best sentiment stamps!

What a wonderful trio of sparkle and shine Barb. Each card has your special touch and all are so pretty. I think the stuff we collect is a product of busy lives. Work takes up so much time for many that it's easier to store than to meaningfully decide to keep, donate or toss.

That's what's so nice about retirement...having time to make decisions about how you spend your time - crafting, organizing, traveling, reading, spending time with family. I've brought reading back into my routines - I didn't realize how much I'd missed having a book to delve into.

Enjoy this wonderful new phase.

Awesome cards, Barb! Your Copic coloring is perfection. And I have been doing the same thing. Not so much the kitchen as I've kept pretty good control there .. but the "miscellaneous" closet .. yikes! time to pack up all those jigsaw puzzles ... purged the clothes closets and the craft closet .. still lots of corners left. Hugs.

Such beautiful cards, Barb! I love how you paired your W&W blooms with the SSS sentiment, and your aqua and red heart is so sweet! You did an amazing job with your glitter paste on your last card...WOW! I love how the hearts overlap, and the sparkle is fabulous!

I can picture you and hubby in the kitchen...so typical after so many years in your home :) I'll never understand why we keep things that we'll never use...it's crazy!

Gorgeous set of cards and I love the last card. I always find it so difficult to make a masculine V.card but your card has just given me an idea, Barb!

Gorgeous cards, Barb - just love all the sparkle and shimmer!! I can relate to the cupboard cleaning - my question - why does it get back to the same mess so quickly? At least that's my problem. Happy cleaning!!

OH, Barb, what beautiful cards you've created.
They will definitely bring smiles to the recipients.
Beautifully done!

OH...can I ever relate to your story.
It's always fun to get rid of "stuff".
Have a lovely week.
