Week 3 Feature Friday at Concord and 9th!

Hi guys!

I'm back again to share my last Feature Friday post for Concord and 9th. I'm a little sad that it's the last week of guest designing for them. I've had so much fun playing with their amazing, creative products!

I loved creating with the Petals and Pallets stamp and die set for this week. Oh, my gosh, it's such a fun and fabulous set!

All products used are listed at the bottom of the post in the affiliate links.

The pallet die can be used in so many different ways. On the card above, I stamped the two woodgrain images, included in the set, with a light gray ink on gray cardstock. I then used the pallet die to make the crate and popped it up a bit for some dimension. You can score and fold it along the edges to make more of a boxed look but I wanted to stretch it out across the card so I could fit more flowers inside. The floral images and matching dies are also included in the set, along with the sentiment. After stamping the solid flowers with some bright ink colors, I added some shading with Copic Markers so they'd have a bit of depth.

You can also use the woodgrain images without the pallet die to create a wonderful, textured background, like I did on my next card.

I was going for a subtle background so I decided to use a light ink again but this time on white cardstock. The hydrangeas were created by also stamping the solid image in very light ink, then I did some really loose, no-line water coloring. What a fun technique that is! It looks a little messy but I still like how it turned out. And another great sentiment from the set.

For my last card, I wanted to create a gift card holder, using the pallet die.

Isn't that fun?! So easy to do! Just cut the pallet twice, score and fold near the edges and glue them together. I also glued a strip of cardstock to the bottom. You could fill it with little candies, or a small gift like a bracelet or earrings, or even just a sweet note for the recipient. So many possibilities! The flowers and leaves were stamped, cut out and Copic colored, again for some depth.

I hope I've given you some fun ideas for using this awesome set! Stop on over to the Feature Friday post on the Concord and 9th blog to check out what Lisa and Rosali created too! They are both so talented!

I want to thank Angie again for inviting me to guest design this month. It's been lots of fun playing with your amazing products!

Thanks for stopping by! ♥
