STAMPtember With CZ Designs!

Hey guys!

I've got a fun post for you today! It's CZ Design's turn over at Simon Says Stamp, for STAMPtember! Yay!

If you don't know Cathy Zielske, she is a talented graphic designer who is well known for her scrapbooking and has just recently begun card making. She cracks me up daily, she has a fabulous blog, she shares funny videos on Instagram, has a wonderful YouTube channel and is now designing stamps - yay! Her designs often show off her hilarious sense of humor and I love them! 

I was sent her, "Coolest Yulest" stamp set - (don't ya love that name?!) and had fun creating a couple of cards.

This set is so cute - I mean, just look at that adorable, little sleigh! Eeeeep! I white embossed the images and sentiments over a distress inked background, added some flicks of both water and white paint, then white embossed the other sentiment onto a small, black strip and it was done. So fun!

For this card, I thought it would be a cool idea to use the two tree images in the set as branches and it actually turned out better than I thought it would. *insert thumbs-up emoji here* Branches aren't normally stick-straight but I think it looks sorta whimsical. After stamping them though, I thought they needed a bit more dimension, so I used a brown colored pencil and just followed the images. I then stamped each ornament, fussy cut them out and popped them up with foam adhesive.

This stamp set also comes with coordinating dies and Cathy designed another stamp and die set too! It's called, Hollaween! Yes, that's how it's spelled - ha! AND!!! She also designed a funny die set with a small "ho" and a larger "ho!" Hee, hee! It all makes me smile!
