Hi guys!
I'm excited to welcome you to my stop on the Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Clematis & Alcohol Markers Release blog hop!
You should've arrived here from Lilith Eeckels' blog. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, head over to the Altenew blog.

MY CARD:
When Altenew sent me their new Artist Markers, I screamed with delight when I saw the colors! These two sets of markers are so gorgeous! They're perfect for coloring flowers and you all know how much I love doing that! I mean, look at these colors! So yummy!
So, I decided to do something I rarely do. Normally I would do my coloring on white card stock but I wanted to try coloring on kraft card stock instead. I don't have the new Paint-A-Flower Clematis, so I pulled out one of my favorite Altenew stamp sets - the Statement Flowers set.
Using kraft colored card stock was out of my comfort zone but I really like the way this turned out, and the new Artist Markers worked beautifully on it! I'm very much looking forward to using them again on white card stock!
Next up is Tenia Nelson!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I've given you a bit of inspiration on using these beautiful markers!
Enjoy the rest of the hop.

How pretty. I like the background. I would like to try this, rather than white...
Lovely design Barb, I really like the background color, it makes your coloring pop! Thanks for the inspiration!
The new release is so exciting! And I love the gorgeous inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
I'm loving the kraft card stock. I would be skipping down the driveway if I found these markers in my mailbox. I hope you have found a way out of your comfort zone, this is so pretty.
So pretty! I love the softness of colors.
Beautifully colored!
Wow, they are bright against the kraft background. At first glance I thought you used color pencils for this one. These seem like some amazing markers.
Wow! Beautiful colouring!
Love the coloring...it's so soft and oh, so beautiful!
I absolutely love your coloring. Using kraft paper was a bold move -- and it works! It sort of softens the look of the ink. Just beautiful.
Simply stunning! Loving this release!
I love the look on kraft paper! Amazing coloring!

Such a beautiful card!
Thanks for sharing.
I agree that watercolor on Kraft color is very hard for me too, but this watercolor set makes it gorgeous! That alone is worth having it. The colors are so true!
Absolutely stunning! That is an amazing job and your coloring is beautiful. Thank you for sharing that bit of inspiration!

Great choice using the Kraft , I don't usually use Kraft either but after seeing your pretty card I think I will give it a try!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful card and for inspiring me.
Kraft card stock gave such a different effect. How pretty the subdued flowers are and the card has a kind of Victorian romance to it! Thanks for the push to work outside ones comfort zone. You got beautiful results!
Gorgeous! I love the kraft background and your coloring (and colors) are amazing.
Nice idea share for coloring. Great look at the sets.
Your card creation reminds me of vintage, rich, floral fabric. I absolutely love it. Never would I ever think to stamp on kraft cardstock a flower image and color it with alcohol inks. It is a beautiful card. Thank you for giving me something entirely new to try.
I love that statement flower stamp. Also your card turned out beautiful on the Kraft paper!
Love these. Love the idea of getting 2 cards from the spring blooms corner.
Wow! Gorgeous coloring!
Beautiful! Fabulous cards! I like the flower colors on the Kraft paper
Oohhhhhh....LOVE how the markers look on the Kraft paper! What an amazing idea đ
I never think to color with markers on anything but white cardstock. I love the colors on the kraft!
I would never have thought of using Kraft cardstock but it works great!
Great card. Love it.
So pretty!
Barb, this is my first look at your blog. I was thrilled when I saw your card! First because it was quite different from the others in the hop, and Second, because you used Kraft card stock. I didn’t think alcohol markers would work on it. I figured it would pill. Your card turned out gorgeous. I like it better than with white card. Thank you for the awesome idea.
Thanks , I’ve recently been searching for information about this topic for a while and yours is the greatest I have found out till now.
But, what concerning the bottom line? Are you sure about the source? í í
