SSS Yay You Release Blog Hop Day 1!

 Hi friends!

Welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp, Yay You blog hop! This is day 1 of a 2-day hop, so be sure to stop by Simon's blog for day 2 tomorrow!

There are so many fun, awesome products in this fantastic release! I'm excited to share a few cards with you today but first, I have an offer for a free gift, plus a giveaway to tell you about!

FREE GIFT:

As you can see from the banner above, if you shop during the blog hop, you can get Simon's "Beautiful" Die Set for free, with a purchase of $25 or more. Just use the code: BEAUTY at checkout. This promotion will expire 5/15 at 11:59 pm EDT.

GIVEAWAY:

Simon is also giving away a $25 gift certificate at every stop along the hop, from the comment sections! Be sure to leave a comment below for a chance to win. Simon will announce the winners on their blog on Wednesday, May 18th.

SIMON GALLERIES:

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true and you can add your very own cards and projects to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries and here's the link to the new, Yay You Gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects!

 MY CARDS:

This first one was created using the Orange Blossoms Stencil and some of Simon's beautiful, Pawsitively Saturated inks. Easy but effective!

My next card features the Arches Background Cling Stamp. Simple, white, heat embossing and some ink smooshing with Distress Oxide Ink and regular Distress Ink. Love the results!

Next up is a slimline card, using the Bell Die Set. I cut out three of the bells, gave them some shading with Copic Markers, then adhered them, with foam adhesive, to a piece of Simon's Matte Silver Mirror Cardstock. Perfect for a wedding or anniversary!

For my last card, I used the Spiral Ball Hot Foil Plate. I hot foiled it several times, used a circle die to cut them out, then adhered them to the card base with some foam adhesive, for a little dimension. Such a cool, fun product!

That's it for me! I hope I've helped give you a few ideas for using some of the products from this awesome release!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the hop!
