I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I had so much fun playing with some of the products from this awesome release! First up is the Wild Rose stamp set. I water colored the images with Zig Markers. I usually don't use such a bright, bold pink but I like how it turned out.

My next two cards showcase the Everlasting Flowers embossing folder. I got my Alcohol Inks out for this one. It's been awhile but I always love playing with them!

My second card using the same embossing folder didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to but this is such a cool technique, I wanted to share it. Kassi Hulet shared this technique on her YouTube channel here. You make a blotter with toilet paper, believe it or not. You spritz small sheets of toilet paper with a bit of water, layer them together, place them inside the embossing folder and run it through your machine. Then, after letting it dry and inking up a watercolor panel, you lay the blotter on top of the panel and gently push it down for a bit. When you lift it up, it will have removed some of the ink and creates the image of the embossing folder. If you've never tried it, you should! It's a fun way to stretch your supplies!

Next up is a die set called Floral Birdscape and it's a beauty! I shaded all the pieces with some soft, pretty inks and used the inlay die cut technique with the flowers and leaves. Then I popped up the dove with foam adhesive to add a bit of dimension.

Okay, one more. Here is the Bows For Days stamps, dies and stencil bundle. I used the stencil in the background before adhering the stamped and die cut bows to the card. I also white embossed the new Best Mom Background stamp over the stenciled panel.

That's it for me! I'm so glad you stopped by today - thank you! I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products from this fantastic release! You've got just one more stop to go on the hop and that's Debbie. She's so talented! I know you'll love whatever she created!

WOW, you really took the new release seriously and ran with many of the new products creating many different themed cards. I have to admit when I saw your first card I was sure if there was more than one card that it would be my favorite because I'm a sucker for a beautiful floral card but then I scrolled on to card #2 and had to change my mind, that gorgeous background grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go, while all of your cards were independently unique & lovely that second card won my vote for my most fav of the five. Your third card intrigues me, I might have to check out the background technique you mentioned. Your mosaic card made with the new cover die is really lovely, I love the peach and soft green color pallet finally your 5th and last card using the new bows stamps & dies along with a text background stamp. I being a sucker for a text background love your yellow, aqua and green background with the bows and embossed text. GREAT usage of Simon's new March products, your hard work paid off as each card is lovely and unique. Thanks for sharing all of your hard work.

Beautiful coloring on your florals!

Love all the cards, but the alcohol one is my fav. I love to make alcohol backgrounds-sometimes I use them to cut out flowers too. Using an embossing folder on them really enhances their beauty.

Barb, you've been busy creating these beautiful cards. I think my favorite is the first one with the "bright" pink you normally don't use. Both of the cards made the embossing folder look fabulous. I need to check out that technique!
