Lots of Paper Piecing

Happy Wednesday!

I decided it would be fun to use some new stamps, along with an older set I've had for quite awhile. I also wanted to do another scene card, which I think is so fun! You get to stamp, color and cut. . . all things I love to do. I don't paper piece too often, so I decided to do that too, and I had a blast putting this one together! Made me smile the whole way through!

The house, Kite, cloud and flower pot are from the Simple Things set and the grass and basket of flowers are from Sending Smiles. The older set I used is called Sky's the Limit. It's one of the very first stamp sets I ever bought and the sun, bird and sentiment are from that set. This particular sentiment is one of my all time favorites and I thought it went well with my bright, cheerful scene. If you click on the picture, you can get a better look of the dimension from all the paper piecing and pop dots used. I even paper pieced the grass.

One more thing. I feel really stupid. I mistakenly clicked "sign off" in Flickr last night and tried to sign back in using the password I use for everything. It kept telling me it was wrong, so I tried other ones and it finally locked me out of my account for 24 hours! I cannot even try to get back in until tonight at 9:00 pm. I feel really stupid, I'm frustrated and in total withdrawal! I hate not being able to comment on your cards or in discussion threads and I just wanted to let you know that's why you won't see my comments today. I'll try and catch up the minute I get back up and running!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you all have a fabulous day! :)

What a fun card, Barb! It reflects your attitude on life to a "t"! Isn't that frustrating about flickr?! Don't worry; that's why there are multi hosti!

Barb, this card is so sweet & adorable. Made me smile just looking at it. I usually ended up click on forgot password if after 2 tries I failed to log in. This way they'll email you your password. HTH. :)

No offense my wonderful Barb but it's kinda funny you locked yourself out! :> I never log out of there, it's open all day and when I shut down the computer it just opens again when it restarts! :> So I love your card, I love all the paper piecing and the scene you have created! Too cute!

Awesome scene Barb. So pretty and happy looking. I laughed at you locking yourself out of Flickr... haven't done that but always forget my login name in Splitcoaststampers as it is different to everything else!!!! Have to request password just about every week!!! Don't stress about not commenting.... in even 24 hrs there are sooo many new cards
