Embellish Blog Challenge

While looking at some of my favorite blogs the other day, I saw Lin's amazingly gorgeous card here. She made it for the Embellish Blog's, text color trends challenge. I love the text part of the challenge and the beautiful color combo of gray, black and white. And Hero Arts is sponsoring this challenge too! Yay!

I decided to use one of the small text images from the Hero Arts, Dictionary Greetings, clear set. I used a negative die cut technique for the text and added a flower image from the Blossom Art set. I stamped it all around the background of the card, in a light gray color. The ribbon was on a gift from a friend and it was the perfect shade of soft gray. The gems I used were a gift from a Flickr friend. . .I just wish I could remember who it was! Love them!

Thanks for stopping by today! :)

Such a beautiful card Barb, it is subtle but at the same time it holds an elegance, black and white can sometimes do that. Highlighting your words with bling is effective, great idea.
Smiles;)
