I'm so excited to be participating in the Summer Card Camp hosted by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner!
Our first color challenge is to use the Summery colors of purple, pink, orange, sky blue and white. I love this bright combination and got started right away on a card. I used the Hero Arts Hand Drawn Flower and watercolored the images with Faber-Castell watercolor pencils. I actually won a bunch of these pencils on Jennifer's blog not too long ago, so I thought it would be appropriate to use them for the first week of camp. :)
I was going to use patterned paper for the scalloped strips but I decided I didn't want to take away from the flowers, so I just used some colored cardstock.
And here's a close-up, showing the dimension of the flowers.
Thanks to Jennifer and Kristina for putting together this fun Card Camp and thank you for stopping by today! Happy camping! :)
