Another Hero Arts Sketch Card

Strange, isn't it? Seeing another post from me after only two days?

That's what happens when you've got time off from work! I've been not only enjoying some awesome, summer weather, but I've been getting crafty too, and I love it! :) So nice to have more time to do the things you love!

So, I decided to have another try at one of the Hero Arts sketches for their June Challenge. It's such a fun sketch to play with. I was at Target yesterday, grocery shopping, and somehow my cart found itself in the office supply isle. I could not stop myself from grabbing some of the fun Target tape!

For this card, I cut the strips of tape and backed them with some white cardstock. I left three of the four strips as is, but I white embossed the Hero Arts Music Background onto the fourth strip.

The sentiment and frame stamp are from the same set called, Speedy Recovery. I just cut out the frame and used some markers to color around the edges and on the flowers. It's not easy to see, but I also added a dab of Turquoise Stickles to the center of each flower. The card base was dry embossed with a chevron embossing folder to give it a bit of interest and texture.

I'm off to water my newly planted flowers and veggies. With all the sun we've had today, they must be getting thirsty by now.

Hope your week is off to a good start! Thanks for stopping by! :)
