Stretch Your Stamps - Day #1

Hi there!

It's been a crazy couple of days! I can't seem to get my head above water lately - feels like I'm behind on everything right now, including visiting some of your blogs, and I apologize for that! I'm hoping to get caught up soon!

Tonight, I did finally manage to take a look at day 1 of the new online card class, Stretch Your Stamps. There is so much inspiration already! I loved the card from Dawn McVey, so I had to CASE it!

I also wanted to use the new Hero Arts Neon Inks, and tried stamping the Lattice Background with the orange neon, on a kraft tag.
It doesn't look as bright as it would on a white tag, but I like it anyway!

The other stamp is also Hero Arts. It's from a cling set called, Untitled Word Shadow. The two colored strips were white, and I smeared them with the pink and yellow neon inks.

Okay, it's very late and I need to get to bed. I'm really looking forward to day 2 of class - hope I can take a look at it tomorrow before 10:00pm!

Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Hello Barb
Hot, hot Orange, happy sweet Pink and glowing Yellow; three high energy colours all on one palette, it should not work, but your card is bursting with cheerfulness, and it is very eye-catching.
A wonderful effect on the Bg.
Smiles;)

I just love this card, Barb! Looks like day 1 was a good one for you. The word shadow stamps are so pretty and I like the neon on the kraft. I decided not to sign up for this class because I always fizzle out way too early:)

Hi Barb! I totally understand how you are feeling! I can hardly keep my head above water right now! I am so loving these neon colors and I think that what you made came out tops! It's almost unbelievable that those two colored strips are not actual cardstock, you really inked that superbly! I hope you have a good nights rest!
