Moxie Fab World's, Repetition Challenge

Hey there!

Just a really quick post tonight to share a card I created for
The Repetition Challenge, over at Moxie Fab World, for their Card Design Handbook Week. I have really enjoyed looking through that special issue - it's fabulous, and I know it'll be one that I look at at again and again. It really is worth buying if you haven't already!

Here's my card:

I inked up the flower from the Hero Arts/Sizzix, Bold Pop Design set with Distress Markers. I used Tumbled Glass, then Broken China, coloring every other petal. I gave the stamp a tiny spritz of water each time before stamping. Cutting them out was easy with the matching die.

I'm not ready to let go of summer just yet, so I adhered them all to a sunshine-y yellow panel, popping up a few of them for dimension. I finished the card by adding small black pearls to the center of each flower and stamping the sentiment from a new Simon Says Stamp set called, Handwritten Sentiments, from Kristina Werner - love this set!

Thanks for coming by! Hope you have a fun and crafty weekend! :)

I love how those flowers are cascading down your card! Summer doesn't end on the calendar until late September and I refuse to let it go any time sooner!
