Patterned Paper

Hi there!

I very rarely use patterned paper on my cards - oh, maybe a strip of it off to one side, but even that doesn't happen very often. And of course, I buy it all the time because I can't resist all the wonderful patterns and colors out there! Anyway, I decided I need to try and use it more often, so that's what I did with my card today.

I adore this 6x6 paper pad from Lawn Fawn called, Hello Sushine! I mean, is it perfect for springtime or WHAT?! Definitely! Such happy, bright colors and patterns! The sequins are from their same collection.

The sun and sentiment are from the Color and Sunshine clear set from Simon Says Stamp. It's a really simple card but I love how happy it is. I'll be giving this to a co-worker - she is a delight to work with and I know she'll love this card!

Thanks for the visit today - I'll be back soon with a card from day 1 of the online card class, Clean and Simple, One Layer Cards 3. ♥

Well, if that is not the sunniest card I've ever seen, I don't know what is! What a great pick-me-up after a long, dark winter!!!
