Graffiti "YOU" Card

Hey there!

Happy Friday everyone! I am winding down my week off from work. I still have tomorrow off but go back on Sunday. I told my hubby this week that I sure do love NOT working! He said, "I know you do, and you only have to hang in there for another couple of years, then we are both retiring." That was music to my ears! We are lucky enough to be able to do it and we are both so grateful for it!

Sorry, I got off track there a little bit - back to my card for today. In the CAS 3 online class, the lesson for day 5 was "Backgrounds Into the Foreground." Jennifer, Laura and Shari all shared some really fun techniques. I adored Shari's card (of course!) She ALWAYS inspires me! She did some inlayed die-cutting along with graffiti stamping - so cool!

Both the heart and the white, love you sentiment are die-cuts and layed back into their negative spaces. Then I used lots of different sentiments from two Simon Says Stamp sets. Stripe Greetings and Color and Sunshine. I know I'm suppose to keep it CAS but I couldn't help adding some enamel dots!

This card was so fun to create! I am loving this class!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by - hope you enjoy your weekend! ♥

I Love this card. I loved the technique, but was a little stymied by it. Your card has definitely provided the inspiration I needed. Thanks for sharing.
